students working with skeletonThe undergraduate program in Health Science (B.S.E.) consists of a major in community health and is designed to prepare candidates for a variety of career options in health promotion/health education.

Career opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

Graduates of the program are also prepared to enter graduate programs of study in schools of public health or graduate programs in health related areas at other institutions.

The graduate programs in health science (M.S., Ph.D.) prepare students with the competencies necessary to pursue career opportunities in:

 

We are pleased to announce that we will have two new Health Science faculty teaching undergraduate and graduate courses for fall 2008. Dr. Jean Henry is coming to the University of Arkansas from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Dr. Bart Hammig is coming from Missouri State University.
