Ches Jones' research has led to legislation making waterways safer, a reduced rate of personal watercraft injury, greater access to child safety seats, and a greater awareness of child safety seat installation and use.
Health science faculty have secured 12 internal grants and contracts from within the University of Arkansas system for a total of $19,981. Sixteen external grants and contracts from various federal, state and local funding sources resulted in $1,360,512 in funding.
